About Us

Yottaquest is an American gaming store in Mt. Healthy, Ohio. We were founded in 2004 by Matthew M. Fay. We specialize in board games, role playing games and card games. We also have a growing comic book collection. We carry a selection of both new and used games, including hard to find older editions. Goodman Games awarded Yottaquest the title of "America's Favorite Game Store" in July 2009 following a competition and voting on their website.

Our philosophy is to establish a strong gaming community throughout the region. The store has an extensive gaming space usable by customers and members of the gaming community.

HISTORY

2013 April: 2,000 Likes on Facebook

2011 June: 1,000 Likes on Facebook

2010 June: Yottaquest becomes a LLC and files for a trademark.

2009 January: Yottaquest expands into the comic market.

2008 March: The first Yotta News was published courtesy of Mike Oney.

2006 June: Yottaquest hosts the first annual Free RPG Day. This has continued every year since.

2004 June: Yottaquest opens its brick and mortar at 7607 Hamilton Avenue in Mt. Healthy, Ohio.

2004 January: Founder, Matthew M. Fay created Yottaquest and ran the business out of the basement of his house. The name Yottaquest came from his son Jonathan and is based on the metric prefix Yotta (10²⁴ ) and Quest for adventure.
